Yeah, that stuff about manuals being "fun" never crossed my mind.
Every single vehicle I've owned has been manual, but that was because they were cheaper and more reliable.

Until I got my Tacoma, which had to be automatic as a concession to my wife.
We're not getting any younger, and the scenario may arise where she will have to drive my vehicle.

Mrs Gritto never learned how to drive a manual.
We tried once in my F-150 and it was scary

Anyway, I'm perfectly fine with driving an auto trans these days

I also noted that three on da tree, but tis a ford (I’m sorry for your loss).
My father drove a stick until his knees/muscles couldn’t handle it anymore. Promptly taught daughter and it quickly became her ride. Never worried about anyone else driving it, until she met a boy that drove a 1st Gen… she’s since upgraded the vehicle, but the boy is persistent.

I've owned several, depends on the vehicle. Liked the auto's in my 2nd gens, 3rd gen, not so much...
