    +1 Glad your OK.

I say it all the time...
    1. (Most) People can't drive!
    2. (Most) People drive over their head!
    3. A side hit at 30mph can kill

damn dude. Glad you are OK. I had a few close calls in the past 2 weeks so I count my blessing and am happy you guys are OK.

Good advice on the cutter/breaker. I carry utility scissor with glass breaker in my truck and usually on my persons. Will for sure keep it in my truck.

Only airbags that deployed were the side window ones. ... and they only fired once we were already upside down!

I went to the wrecker compound to collect my stuff. It was emotional. It's just a truck, but I got attached to it. Had some great times in it and working on it. Installing mods myself was a great experience. The Tacomaworld community has been amazing. I have received a massive amount of help from you guys. I learned so much. Thank you!

But this cost me lots of time (and money), which I will not get back, at least not in full. Sucks that someone else hits you and you still lose $. Not sure what to do next. I definitely enjoyed the first time, but not sure about a repeat.

    Peace. Take care. Be safe.

This Taco is a bit worse for wear:

Photo shows the impact point. Rock rails protected the cab but also helped to flip the truck, I think.

Did the wrecker service allow you to get your parts? A lot of times they will not!! (just curious)

This is where the personal injury aspect of the situation comes into play. Whiplash, back pain, body aches - why should you not be compensated for dealing with all of that at the expense of your normal activities and lifestyle? You get a good lawyer, get a big settlement from the other guy's insurance to compensate you for your pain and suffering, and then use some of that award afterwards - when you're feeling better - to get a new truck.

JMHO. I'm not a lawyer. However, I did watch every episode of SUITS on Netflix recently. :oldglory:

Nope. Front side window bags, both sides. Nothing else.

    I'm glad you're okay.

You could probably cannibalize the parts (grille, skid plate, headlights) that are still good and sell or repurpose it if you're getting another 3rd gen.
