I was an above average bowler in my youth playing with bowling on tv tournaments etc.
I did collect a few trophies and such however they all went away because you know, Life.
    But, I saved this one.

    IMG_7561.jpg

Out of all of them, this is the one that means the most. I will never get rid of it.
It’s an Adult/Youth league championship with my boy. We destroyed the competition.
He was a real good bowler.
Again, life/work gets in the way of fun.
He may not remember it unless I mention it but to me, it’s one of the best memories I have with
    him.

Good Morning Everyone, Have a Great Day!

That bridge collapse was hard to believe could happen, we just get snow and ice to deal with. That's going to have a far reaching impact for more people than just the Baltimore area. gool luck to everyone in the area.

I got woken up this morning but the neighbor this morning 5am he's been trying to get something done with his car's. I was almost tempted to see if he could use some help till I seen the one he was messing with. It's his kids I think he just got his license after failing the exam 20 + x's. He only has 2 blocks to walk to school. He's a junior and just turned 17.

It’s going to be another beautiful day! Mid 50s and mostly sunny. Too wet and still too much snow on my garden beds to plant, but should be ready by the weekend.
Kettlebell morning, then got to contact the mortgage company to add to my escrow. Taxes and insurance are up near 30% this year so I’ve got to increase escrow account! Ugh! Who ever said you could retire on 75% of you income wasn’t right. More like you need 2x your income! Went for 1 bag of groceries yesterday not even full and it was over $100! YIKES!
Oh well, I probably don’t have that many more years to go, so I’m spending all my retirement. Sorry daughter and grandkids. You’re on your own just like me! LOL!
Have a great day outside everyone! Don’t forget to get some vitamin D!

Yep, more like rabbit hole. It's cold and the coffee is better when watching from the window. His daughter is a great kid, should be a senior in college and working while studying. I think his boy just wants to be a slug. He got his kid the car a year ago and it's sat in the driveway till about a week ago. His dad was bragging to me last fall he had failed the written test that many times . @$20 a pop. He paid for the first 3 , several us were hoping he would never drive.:anonymous:.

:pccoffee: sixtys/wannabes/survivors. No wave today, that bridge collapse has us a bit shaken. It hits close to home here because we have friends and relatives in the area. I read that some construction workers or bridge workers heard the mayday and shut down vehicle traffic to the bridge literally a minute before it collapsed. Whoever did it, they definitely saved lives. If you watch the video you can see traffic crossing the bridge before the incident, but none when the ship impacted it. It's still a terrible tragedy for those highway workers who were on the span and their families, but it could have been so much worse.

In happier news, I went to "wing night" last night with some former coworkers, some of whom I hadn't seen since before C-O-you-know-what. Had a great time. It's still hard for me to grasp the fact that the last time I saw some of them was over 4 years ago though!

:pccoffee: Good Morning Porch Pals & Sue! Resting my cut toes today, so no hangar time. Might go Friday. Had a nap yesterday after getting cut up, and woke up to find the suspension in my recliner completely broke while I was out! Stuck extended, and the foot rest all crooked. Flipped it over, and it's all bent up down there - banged on it enough to get it mostly closed, but it's dead. "And, your tax refund will go to....."

Don't replace it with leather. We purchased our first and last set a couple years ago. They did get used though after shoulder surgery's.by both of us. But the leather has lost most of its color.

I won’t give up my Motioncraft leather recliner. 16 years and still great. Made in the USA. Pricey but worth it.

    Evening all:

Had a Strata Lounger recliner, it broke, bought a Lazy Boy recliner, it also broke, currently have an Amish Built one, so far so good!

Just double checked to make sure, Trout opener is April 6th. Its opening early this year, at least last year they did away with someone's brilliant idea of having two opening dates and went back to a single statewide opening day.
