Well I now know where I'm stopping for gas on my run through UT

 

Yeah no kidding! It smelled so good. I just didnt want the gooey awesomeness getting all over my truck while I was doing 80 mph down the highway in the snow.

 

Every single Maverik I have been to has been absolutely BANG-On. Fantastic chain of Gas Stations. Some even sell E-0 (No Ethanol).
They are like a Miniature Buc-ees. And I know a lot of you don't know what a Buc-ees is but you will. They are coming to AZ!

 

Maveriks are hit and miss. The deli food is standardized and they defrost heat up make it in store basically. Depends on who’s in the kitchen and if they are one top of time under heat. Prices gone up though so use their app. Plus the app gets you an extra 2cents off a gal.
The Cinnabon aren’t in all stores.
As for gas though they are better non top tier as they have tight control over monitoring and making sure things run smooth. Short of a driver cross dropping they are good to go and safe.

 

Sheetz, mainly I have seen them in Ohio and North Carolina. Some have full-on drivethrus and you can order subs, burgers, etc. The quality control May not make it to AZ soon ... I have seen across the ones I have been equal, but they generally need a little more real-estate than a Speedway.

 

Man I do miss me some Sheetz. Used to be the trail ride meetup point so we could stock up on sandwiches and whatever.

 

Sheetz is not good IMO, I prefer wawa. Both staples around where I used to live in VA. Both were regular meetup points for trail rides because we could grab a cold cut to bring on the trail.

 

Never heard of that before. But my experience in VA has been immediately across the border from DC or Charlottesville to visit my brother. I will keep that in mid if I get back there.

Though this one takes the prize for WTF ...

 

Certainly keep an eye out. They're in the DC area, just few and far between. They're incredibly relevant up in PA, which is great for me because I used to do a ton of wheeling there.

 

You just sometimes have to wonder if the person naming some entities are on their LAST DAY at the company and just want to exit giggling.

My comment was towards wawa, I can't say I've ever partaken in a Kum and Go

 

Sheetz has not checked my credit rating anytime I was there, but who knows?

Wawa was the shit. One thing I wish I could have brought with to AZ lol.
Their meatball subs were so good. They also used to make these little hot pocket things called "smores pies" and it was basically a hot pocket shape of Graham cracker crust with hot and gooey chocolate and marshmallow inside. something about that on a summer night just really hit the spot.

They discontinued them back in like 2008 or something, I was crushed. The worker who told me the news let me have the rest they had on the warmers, I think he saw how heartbroken I was.

Yesss, and their chicken parm sandwiches were good too. Honestly, everything I had from there was good.
