Got the annual dethatching done. Not as big a yield as years past but still filled up the 6x12. Had my girls dethatching while I swept it up. They did a great job. Saved me hours and hours since we have to go at a turtles pace to keep the dethatcher from bouncing. It bounces side to side quite a bit. I feel like the tines are too vertical and once one side finds a low spot they spring forward and the bouncing starts. Tried more weight but didn't help much. Thanks, I have only been doing these straps like this for maybe a month or two now and they never come loose. Depending on which way you wind them, it actually can get tighter as you're going down the road and make it tough to remove haha. My local Kubota dealer took $150 off the QH since I bought the tiller and QH from them, so it was kind of a no brainer even though the land pride QH is a little pricier, and I like supporting local places anyhow.

Thank you, I'm looking forward to putting her to work, we have rain scheduled for the next 2-3 days so probably won't get a chance to mess with it until next week sometime.

Thought so... The color is the giveaway ;)
We have two. The blue is nearing 4 years old, his silver mom will be 9 in September. We've had him since he was 12 weeks old, and we were able to get his mom from the breeder in Kentucky last September. We love 'em... :)

Nice! They’re my favorite by far. They are truly unique dogs. Thats awesome you ended up with his mom too.

Lexi will be 3 next month. We got her from a breeder in Illinois called Curious Weims.

If you live rural or have health conditions that require steady temps/utility at all times? They are a must have. We will NEVER be without a whole house Genny again.

Tell me more about this technique since its new to you too. Once you do the tuck thru... Do you wind it away from you? Or towards you?

If can find the video will post it up.

I haven't lost a strap yet using the "internet method". now if they had a way to keep the extra chain length contained instead of wrapping it around the binder a million times, I am all ears.

Chain hoist bags. Toss the extra in the bag and then i just use a velcro strap to tie the handles to something (binder or D-ring or whatever.)

Zip ties are pretty cheap. I hook what I can back onto the loaded chain, then I pile up the excess and take a zip tie feed it through several links to ensure it doesn't go anywhere it isn't supposed to.
