Yeah, I am looking for a lower option Limited. I've read of a few who claimed to have gotten $8.5k and $10k off of theirs very similarly optioned to what I want. All out of Kansas dealers. Around here $5-7k is where most are sitting for a Limited. Platinum's and Capstones 7-10k off MSRP. I have never asked about a 1794 though.

Drove by my local dealer this afternoon and they have at least 8 Tacomas in stock. 2 Off Roads, 2 Sports and the rest looked like a mix of SR5 or Sports.

Completely unlike 2016, competition right now is so deep and well done, that you’re almost obligated to drive several choices before buying. Not to mention low-hanging full-sizers.

Ranger 2.7T vs TRD OR hybrid could be worth keeping an eye on, especially if Ford decides to slap a Tremor badge on it.

Saw my first '24 Taco in person. Middletown Toyota had just one one the lot. Black sport SB. Appeared to have the premium package. Leather seats, large screen.... $52k. Looked real nice. Aggressive front end. Definitely taller cab than my 2nd gen and I'm lifted on 33s. Wanted to sit in it but dealership was closed. 2 more years and I'll be ready.

Unless you have to have the new new I'd wait it out. Noticed a similar pattern with the new Tundra. At first the older gen took a small hit on resale then the new ones started having issues (even if minor there were alot) along with people refusing to adopt turbo, looks, etc. and now clean last year 2020-2021 Tundras fetch more than similar used 2022's and commanding more than they did MSRP or similar. Would not be surprised if the new Tacoma is seen as less than 3rd gens holding strong value, we shall see, different demographic than Tundra drivers so guessing probably not.

There were alot of people on here that thought the 4R would get cancelled, that picture puts that theory to bed.

I already don’t like all the creases I see in that photo. Is this going to be another transformer looking truck? :puke:

There are comments from TFL that the truck will look very similar to the current Tacoma with a cabin in the back. Take it with a big grain of salt

I hope at least the interior is a little more classy and doesn’t have all the molle panel BS.

I'm not buying that. Prices may vary by zip code, but 22 vs 21 Tundra Limited with same options, color, and mileage shows newer truck costs more.
