Got a bad feeling about this… might have to go get a 2024 before they are all gone in a year. Wasn’t planning on having two car payments at the same time. It better not be a hybrid!!

 

Im intrigued. I don’t like it, but I’m curious.

 

It most definitely will be. Toyota put too much time and money into the I-force Max. Hopefully people will be trading in their 2022-24 models so that I can afford one.

 

The T4R was on the short list for my wife but she ultimately liked the Grand Highlander more. She didn’t like the seating in it or how she felt sitting in there. Didn’t even want to take it on a test drive. She also wanted more comforts than the T4R offered.

That’s funny because my wife said the same, just reversed. She said she felt tile the GH was slopped too far forward and almost a van like feel. She wanted more of an upright truck feel. But she agreed that the GH is more user-friendly and luxurious inside. Women!!

 

Tell her she can lift the GH too…


It does have a slight van feeling with its size and shape but somehow pulls it off that it’s not.
I liked the 4R rear hatch/door window rolled down…

 

4R I think is just a better fit, especially with a cab on frame construction and not a unibody. Think it’ll hold up better to the abuse we are going to throw at it… trailers, camping (not glamping in a paved campground), boat hauling, and whatever other shenanigans we decide to get into. Guess we better start looking sooner than later… not going hybrid.

 

My wife isn’t interested in that stuff and the military made me not like camping


I have my truck for those things though I did consider trading in mine for a T4R and get a trailer for when I need a bed.

I have lots of big dreams of things I want to do but the funds are lacking


I don’t believe that the hybrids in these trucks or the hybrid max platform are for gas savings at all. I don’t think any really offer much of an increase. the GH has the hybrid and hybrid max. the regular hybrid gets much better mpgs while the max is similar to the gas only model. I dont think the 24 Tacoma will offer a good mpg hybrid, only the max version and think the 4R will follow suite. or maybe itll surprise us all.

I enjoyed it in my youth (Age 10-16) but now, not so much.

Y’all must be doing it wrong… load up the trucks and boats, grab some women, find an island, bring chainsaws and weed whackers and do a little clearing, set up camp… the rest is up to you, but it stays on the island!!
