36.000 miles, it’s interesting you say that because it’s still an unknown issue,
Some guys have over 100k without an issue and some say valve dropped at 15k

corvette forum is split 50/50 if it’s the driver or the engine issue.

    Amazing car for sure,
See corvette chief engineer Tom Wallice signature on the engine and sun visor.
It was in 2012 Thunder Hill race track.

I’ve felt that way either several trucks.
Add a lift and a bunch in crap then it’s to the point of not being the vehicle I bought.

The FJ got to this point……it’s now back to just having a leveling kit from OME

Did the bumper ever save you from getting damage? Sometimes I think it would be great to have a whole list of mods done to the truck. Then I see threads like this and think, "one thing ruined the experience for this guy", and decide that my truck works perfectly fine the way it is stock. But then, I don't offroad too much, cottage dirt roads, hydro cut roads and farm use is the most of it. I find that usually the idea of a mod is way better than the mod itself. Good luck with your next vehicle, I hope it's a reliable one that works for your needs.

As I have gotten older I have gotten very selective about what mods I do to my vehicles, I discovered as you have that the wrong mods can ruin the character of a vehicle.
I ask myself, do I really need this? How will it affect the drive, fuel economy, reliability, looks?
Turns out, most of the time the answer is leave well enough alone.
Damn I'm old and boring :annoyed:.

Even my Leer cap is annoyingly noticeable sometimes. The truck feels the best when it's not installed. But it's the only cap I've found that will actually keep water out so it stays on there pretty much year round

Equally funny to see people post "i am leaving the tacoma community" like any of us will notice.
This isnt facebook where you post unsolicited status updates about your personal life.

I can see why. A lot of people are long time members with forum friends. Most people stick around even after selling.

badlands edition Branco comes stock with everything that I wanted on the Tacoma,
    35 inch tires,
Front and back lockers, proper recovery hooks
    Solid metal bumpers
    Amazing approach and departure angles
    Factory winch
    Excellent seating position,

I am not criticizing the Tacoma,
I am just saying, I won’t have to modify the vehicle to get what I want,

i learned my lesson what one ugly poor design bumper can do,
stock or nothing from now on.

absolutely agree, this forum has been super fun, I met friends throughout the world,
    Super helpful and friendly people,
even though I sold my Tacoma, I won’t be leaving this forum because over the years it became a family, reading about people and learning about those trucks.
