It is funny how bad some randoms are at the game.
Either they don't get the friendly fire aspect or don't gaf....
Last game I played this lvl 10 had 7000 in friendly damage and 20 fn kills.
And the moron is giving directions to guys that are 20 plus levels.
Like dude get a clue.....

 

had a lvl 2 join us on accident (buddy forgot to turn off matchmaking) and the dude kept walking into my eagle strikes or 320mm orbital like dude stooop lmao

 

Playing 8s is nuts.

 

any run into an issue with not being able to reinforce after yesterday's update? happened to us twice on the automaton side.

Naw we reinforced as needed; rando group and we were initially doing 7s, then he switched to 8s and the newcomers were losing their mind

But no issues to mention

 

lucky. me and a rando died and Derk just kept throwing out reinforce beacons but nothing happened. when Derk finally died it still only brought him back. rando and i finally respawned when Derk left the game completely and then he tried to rejoin.

super weird glitch, but it fucked us out of super samples in the final game we played because Derk couldn't get back into the game before i died.

note: Derk isn't on TW but it helped as an identifier when typing this out.

 

Ouch, yeah we did have a charger push a few of us underground only for a few titans to step through and squash us

I've never gone underground but when it happened, happened to my teammates as well

 

Only time I’ve seen this is when we were close enough to the mission border that the person calling down anything was mistakenly throwing them just out of bounds.

 

hmm... interesting, this happened to us in the middle of the map.

 

Were all the resupplies used and on cooldown? Only other legitimate reason I can come up with.

that i don't recall, i remember being pretty early in the game the first time it happened.

but yesterday went fine. played a few rounds with randos spilling oil in the automaton region.

 

Multiple games with rando's and all went well yesterday.

Then suddenly, the last group I was playing with, my game just...didn't exactly disconnect, didn't shut down, nothing.

What happened was entirely different as one moment I'm in the battlefield spreading democracy, the next I'm in my ship alone.

No warning, no message, nothing.

I do a Quickplay to get a few more rounds in and end up joining that group again. Weird thing? I don't have ability to choose my strats and my booster is picked out, as well as the yellow confirmation to launch already selected for me (other members are In Mission). The same items I chose when I went into that mission with them were the same items that were chosen for me.

I land, and shit you not the last item I dropped was still on cooldown as I never left the game.

That happened twice with that specific group.

 

Maybe you were spreading so much democracy they put you in a timeout!
Let someone else get a few kills....

With some of my wife's family coming over, I'm either sticking to the garage today or jumping on to spread democracy so we'll see

 

I should upgrade anyways my Sony isn't HDMI 2.1 even though I don't think they're making anything on the 5 to utilize it...

 

PC + DP = the refresh rate and resolution you could ever want

 

The only game I am aware of so far is Destiny 2, and just in Crucible. You can set it to 120Hz if your TV/monitor supports it. There are probably other newer games that can take advantage of it but don't require it. I am partial to Sony TVs with Android TV, so I got one that supports all the things the PS5 is capable of (Variable Refresh Rate/VRR and 4K at 120Hz). But I can't say it's been that useful so far.

6' in front of the 65" SONY wall mounted and tilted is an awesome gaming experience imo...

I just need to get some FN screen time lol
