    Hey all,
As the title states, curious if anyone can identify these aftermarket UCAs with heim joints. They look like JBA, but I'm not sure. Bought the truck (21 TRD OR MT) from a Toyota dealership as a CPO, so didn't think to double check the UCAs. Went in for an alignment, and the shop had trouble aligning it because they were only familiar with the stock UCAs, and they pointed out these were aftermarket.

Bought a set of TRD SEMA wheels, and trying to decide between 255/80s and 285/70s, leaning towards the 255 to hopefully avoid UCA rubbing, but this has my hopes back down a bit. Any recommendations on a different brand/ways to adjust camber/castor to help fitment? I'm pretty confident in my front/rear fender clearance, and Im not particularly afraid of the angle grinder

I recently saw some knockoff JBA's on Amazon with the same style of balljoints and they looked like those too.

The JBAs were definitely the closest I've been able to find, maybe tied with these:

    https://rocky-road.com/shop/toyota-upper-control-arms/

The ball joints and their mount plate, along with the arms seem to match both options, the weld between the front arm mount and the plate is the big thing throwing me off. Maybe it's an older version of the JBA or rocky road

JBA is the only brand that I'm aware of that has that style of bolt in ball joint. As already mentioned JBA's are red, but it's possible these were painted black.
These uca's have poly bushings not heims and so do JBA's.

If you want a replacement uca with lots of alignment adjustment I would recommend JBA HD high castor uca's or possibly accutune's own brand of uca. The accutune version has heims, but they're sealed.

I dont know enough to say for sure, but according to the shop that did the alignment, these are in fact heim joint UCAs

You might want to find an alignment shop that's familiar with working on lifted Tacoma's and or aftermarket uca's. Accutune has several articles explaining alignments.

    https://accutuneoffroad.com/tacoma-4runner-wheel-alignment/

Those are poly bushings with a metal sleeve insert.

    https://jbaoffroad.com/jba-tc-69000-uca-bushing-kit.html

    Here's a picture of Accutune's uca's with heim joints.

There's pros and cons for each. A fresh set of JBA's would be fine for your application.
