I am new here. Also been awhile since I've been on any forum.

I had finished a long shift before posting this so I'll correct it here.

2023 Toyota Tacoma Double cab 6 foot bed. To clear up said confusion. Need a file out for it too?

Been hauling loads up to and occasionally a little over maximum capacity for long distances and rough roads since 2011. No problem. Example of slightly overloaded with firewood.

Everyone has seen way overloaded Tacomas and they keep going.

Worst case barring an accident, the overload cracks a stock leaf, overcompresses a stock rear shock, and flattens the base rear tire it came with. The replacement leaf, shock, and tire, you'd want to do eventually anyway because they are all weak and won't last.

Keep rolling it but be safe about it.

Slightly over loaded? That looks like it's running on straight bump stops

A 5 gal bucket of paint and stir sticks, constitutes an overload on Tacoma.

that means it's at capacity. why would they include bump stops if they didn't intend for us to use them occasionally?!?

'capacity' is just legalese for 'it's you're own damn fault', for when you wreck and try to sue toyota for selling you the truck.

Not on the stops nor overloaded. Carried a weighed truck capacity load of crushed stone first when I got the truck and made up a measuring stick to gauge approximate load and have been using it ever since. Maybe next time I will take a pic and check with the armchair experts here for advice on loading.

Small lift, slightly oversized tires, well...
Or maybe: '23, as the apostrophe is being used to replace "20".

I regularly load mine over GVM aswell and continue to use it.... but I have leafs and bumps to better manage it. Brake upgrade is next on the list.
