I need to disable the fuel pump for my Tacoma 2020 v6 3.5Lt to clean the inyectors but not able to find a relay just for the fuel pump.

Is there any other option to disable the fuel pump? like activating the inertia switch.

    Help

    EFI No.2 Relay.
Pulling the EFI No.2 would achieve the same result.

    Good luck :thumbsup:upload_2024-3-29_16-12-56.png

How are you planning on hooking up the cleaner?

Most run the cleaner on the low pressure side to only the port injectors, then leave the DI high pressure side going, meaning you need the pump to be on.

You can block off the low side, or run a long hose from low side back into the gas tank.

The truck needs DI on to run.

I commonly use the injector cleaner from the image below, I need to disable the fuel pump and run the engine just with the injector cleaner, the normal procedure is to start the engine, remove the relay to disable the fuel pump and after 20-30 seconds the engine should start shaking until it stops after a couple of seconds, this is the good signal that all the systems are running except the fuel pump, then I have to connect the cleaner injector to the intake fuel using 50psi and start the engine just with the injector cleaner.

I used to do it for my previous Tacoma 2010, it was a pretty simple process, but with 3rd Gen, I don't know how to do it.
