I have the Easton EA70AX 700c wheelset on my gravel bike which have treated me well. Never had an issue with my tubeless setup.
I actually just bought a 650b wheelset. I am still undecided if I want to sell the 700c or keep it, but I can keep you posted when my new set comes.

    Transam!!!

I use my hardtail for exactly what you described, as well as when I'm riding a trail I know well and wanna make it a bit more exciting. With that said, if you're gonna do a lot of long rides on it then the spur will definitely be more comfortable. I like a little suffering, so it's a hardtail for me.

Edit: One up side of a hardtail for commuting is that they're less of a target for theft. People see a full suspension bike and know it's fancy, not as true with a hardtail.

Road or Gravel. I'd like to have one gravel set for chunky rides and another set for more road oriented set up.

Mines one of the older ones. That’s mainly what I wanted it for. Thought of drilling my own but it wouldn’t be threaded

Is Colorado Cyclist legit, anyone order from them recently? They have some parts I'm considering at a good price, wondering if it's too good of a price...

Thanks. I just submitted a question and got a response from Planet Cyclery. I didn't realize they were one in the same...

Just bought a fork and tires from them. Both were mislabeled, had to return both.
Fork was labeled as a 38 performance elite, was performance only. Tires labeled double down, were exo.
Both descriptions said new in box, neither were. Both were takeoffs.
Return process was less than good. Took forever, didn’t refund the tires at first, slow to respond.
It’s kinda like PB. If you are careful and know what you’re looking for, there’s great deals. But it’s not dependable.

270 for 53 lb box from raleigh NC to Reno NV. Didn't seem horrendous to me considering bike boxes arent exactly small

I’ve found them to be only slightly(+10%) more expensive than UPS\Fedex in most cases.

Try setting the ship date to Tues. That’s the cheapest day of the week to ship.

I think I’ll try that next time, I ended up paying 200 to ship a bike from California to Alabama for my dad.

Occult vs Omen? Wondering if it’s worth the extra. Don’t have any silvers or black in the blem store for less $$

Since there's some talk on pedals, i went to the LBS and bought some 2FO clip shoes since they were on sale and now i need some pedals.... ive been suggested some by friends and the LBS; CrankBros mallets DH, shimano staints, and shimano xtrs. Any specific ones you guys prefer for heavy rocky stuff or fit better with 2FO shoes? or could i get away with some CrankBros Candy 2 pedals at half the cost? I do like the feel of a wide pedal under my foot and i dont really know if that is something you can 'feel' when clipped in and descending.

or am i totally over thinking this because im nervous about switching to clips?
