What up yall! Damn I cant believe it’s been 12 years since I been on here asking about my 2006 tacoma. I still drive it to this day and it’s gotten over 312k miles on it, and when I purchased it back in 2012 it had 84k miles. I want to buy a new truck and want the lift to look exactly like this here . I am very picky and want to make it look right. Any guidance? And please post a picture of your lifted truck if you would like. Thanks!

Without more information, or the owner of that truck posting here... everyone will just be guessing... my guess is a 2/1 lift 2 inch up front and 1 in the rear. Stock sized tires or maybe 265/75R16's. Looks similar to my own. But again... just a guess.

    Work in progress...
Could be a simple spacer on the front coils to add a about 2 inches to the front for the "level" pool players are looking for?

There are a lot of options that would lift the truck and give it that stance. If you tell us what you are going to use the truck for, we can tell you what type of lift would be more useful.

If you’re just doing it for looks and you’re not doing any off road driving then a spacer lift up front would be fine. If you’re going offroad or you want to do an actual suspension upgrade, the Bilstein 5100’s are a popular and budget friendly option. They also can be adjusted so you have several different ride height options.

Looks like a 3/1" lift to me. Quite high in the front.

I'll chime in the general side of lifts for on road use are dumb. Check out one size upped tires and a more agressive wheel offset.
You can do skinny 33's or 265/70r17 or 265/75r16 on a 0 offset wheel that will give you a much better look with very little to no downsides on drivability. As soon as you lift you open up the possibility for a bunch of issues to arise.

    That's a 17x9 +1 265/70r17 duratrac

2” OME lift: 2887 OME coils. Stock length OME nitro charger shocks, medium dobinsons leafs (Dakars tend to squeak) Sway bar removed.

I really like the look and the ride. My only minor complaint is that I’ve only got 2.25” of downtravel with this set up. If I was to do it again, I would have went with extended length shocks. Although, It doesn’t bother me enough to do anything about it.

5100s are great, and are extended length. About 3” of downtravel if you do ~2” lift.

X2 on the skinnies! Absolutely love the look and functionality. Well and less strain on the drivetrain and steering components.

thats nice i like your truck lift. what size tires u running? is that a 3" lift?
based upon your previous and current comment i did not expect anything of intelligence to come outta you. Aye but don't worry though bro it ain't completely your fault ;)

thanks for the info. I like how your truck is not over the top and that there is just enough done to it.

In that picture that's no lift, I listed wheel and tire specs in the previous post.
It now has a lift and 295/70r17's but the truck is primarily used on the weekends I don't daily it. After driving the truck in multiple set ups I don't recommend a lift with 33's on a daily that's all street use to many downsides to it.

Try a reverse image search on the photo and find the original post location. See if the op posts other pictures or talks further about the suspension

I’ve done a lot with my truck with stock suspension and just upping the tire size to 265/70/17. Honestly, depending on what you want to do with the truck they are pretty well equipped with stock suspension.

To fit taller tires, which gives you more lift under the 2 pumpkins. That's the only reason....

Well that, and to piss off the mother in law...
