    Nice

How's the clearance with -38mm offset and 285s?

I figured this would surely cause pretty serious scrub radius rubbing.

Oh 100%. Like I said you need every bit of +3" of lift to clear them, and thats WITH a CMC! I had the chop installed and was still scrubbing on them with the Icon's maxed out to their full lift. So I did some research until I could find a lifting spacer with a pass-through bolt design. Most lifting spacers have an offset upper and lower mounting locations, which would cause the coilover to have to go in twisted to fit the upper perch. That would be fine if I didnt have the extended reservoirs. But alas, I found TORQ Engineering lift kits that had a puck that uses long bolts. Was able to get that last 1" of lift and soften the Icon coilover back down a little. Only problem now is the UCA scrubs the line going to the reservoir a little bit. Otherwise it rides great! In a perfect world I'd get rid of that setup for some Fox shocks that support a true 3" lift.

Scored some paint matched fender flares on FB Market place for a decent deal and mounted them up using @Nitori ’s method.

    The day I bought my 2022 SR v6 4x4…

    C3389F36-C20A-433C-959A-A3514C979772.jpg

And how it sits now, 24,000 miles and 1 1/2 years later. I love this truck and it’s simplicity and utility as a daily driver and for hauling gear and people to trail heads and river put ins. I don’t plan on doing much more to it. Thought I would share since this thread and others like it have helped me so much…
    • Bilstein 5100s set at 4th setting and 1/4” driver side spacer for 1.55” lift front
    • Icon progressive add a leaf with overload left in for around 2” lift rear
    • Sema wheels with 265/70/17 BFG KO2s
    • ARE V series shell with OTR option (scored used on FB market place) and Yakima HD bars with kayak stackers.
    • Fender flares from a TRD sport (also scored used on FB market place)
    • 1up hitch mount bike rack
    • Amazon fog lights (plan on upgrading later)
    • Leather wrapped the steering wheel

I've been procrastinating on my 60k service. I've had the Redline 75w85, the Toyota 75W 08885-81080 liquid gold, and all the associated crush washers in my garage for a couple months, but I kept finding a reason to avoid spending the time to crawl under my truck and do it. Last night it was fairly warm, but too windy to ride BMX so I decided to get that done.

Interestingly enough, at 30k my rear diff fluid was nasty and my front diff fluid was clean .. this go around, my rear diff fluid was pretty clean, but my front diff fluid was nasty... The magnetic drain plug up front had a lot of sludge on it and a metal shaving, I used 4x4 a lot more this past year... My xfer case liquid gold could have just stayed..... I never changed it at 30k, and I really could have left it alone for another 30k...at $80/litre that crap ain't cheap.

I also finally got around to tinting my fog lights. Back when I picked up my OR wide angle fog lamps from a TW member, they were painted with a transparent yellow... They looked good... Since then I have painted them twice... The paint just doesn't hold up, especially on the front of the truck... You get about 4 months before the paint deteriorates.

The tint was JDM selective yellow and it wasn't too bad to put on ... Just had to remove the lamps and do it on a work bench

Do you have the L shape DRLs headlights? If so how did you hook them up. Thanks.

I have the standard SR headlamps, my DRLs are shared with the Amber Turn Signals, so no LEDs for me. They were all chrome with no louvers over the turn signals. I had @no vtec 4me hook it up with a BHLM and he added the louvers as well as some amber acrylic turn signal covers. I'm glad I had him do this instead of trying it myself. I'm a DIYer....., but this time I let someone else handle the job... it's been 18 months and no issues at all... Looks factory.

I converted my low beams to the German H9 bulbs and my fog lights are running Phillips +60 h11 bulbs..No LEDs at all up front... I'm just trying to get the best light possible from my halogens.

    Sorry ...

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction. I'm switching from my stock steel wheels to OEM 16" TRD Pro Alloy Wheels. I've been trying to figure out the correct part number for the tire pressure sensors. From what I can tell, it's 42607-02050. Can anyone confirm or advise what the correct part number is?

Denso 550-0106 or Pacific T6 should be the same thing but maybe available cheaper. I believe you want the 20 degree sensors, not 40 degree, for alloy wheels. I got a set of the T6 sensors from Tire Rack. I put them in 4Runner wheels so I'm not 100% sure they are the right part for TRD Pro wheels, but I expect they would be.

Not exactly what you are looking for, however I have utilized my steel wheel OEM sensors inside my alloy wheels for the past 4 years without any issues.

You can use them if you rotate the sensor 180°. I know it is as clear as mud, however once the tec gets the tire and sensor off it is obvious.

I've done this at a couple different tire shops and both times the tech was like huh? But then quickly came out and said....I see what you mean now...

If you decide to do this you'll have to remember to tell the next guy/tire shop to drop the sensors in the tire before unmounting the tire from the rim.... There is a potential to damage the rotated sensor with the unmounting equipment.

Sorry I don't have any pics. And sorry this wasn't an answer your question, however I was cheap and didn't want to drop another $400 on sensors when the ones that came with my truck will work just by rotating them. On my 2nd set of tires like this and no problems so far
