What have you bought in the last 48 hours gun related?

I know a couple of people that have them. No issues they like them

 

You can consistently find 9mm for $240-250 shipped per case online.

 

Will these hold AK and Ar mags?

 

Not sure about AK mags maybe someone will chime in and say something

 

Zenith ZF-5 (mp5 clone) has been warranty repaired and now works. Their re-branded KCI mags still suck though.

 

Their plant is like an hour from my house I’d love to just go there and get one

 

they make a separate case for AK mags. Pretty sure I also have a case for HK91 mags.

 

They are nicely made guns(fit, finish, very accurate). But I got one from a run that had some major problems with feeding and a loose mag well fit.

But they eventually fixed it.

 

You should go check it out. Some factories have retail shops. They might even offer a .mil discount...

Way back in the day, I bought my first AR from Oly Arms when I was stationed in WA. Their factory was only 40 minutes from my house, maybe 10 min south of Ft Lewis.

 

The screws I ordered finally came in, only 3 days late.
I like to use this stick loctite, it stays where you put it and doesn't run all over the place.

Sight mounted up easy peasy once I had the right screws.

And it clears the holster.

 

Man I had hell finding the right screw for my optic on my XDm elite

ended up grinding down a couple of screws that were about 2mm too long

 

So given all that's going on in the world I decided to arm myself with a pistol, but because I'm not a big concealed carry guy I decided to cheap out and not go with optics ready. I mean how often am I going to carry my gun I thought to myself. It turns out when shooting iron sights I might as well leave the gun at home, or throw it at someone, because I suck with iron sights. Being the cheap bastard I am I decided to not buy a optics ready slide or send mine off to get milled but decided to buy a plate that presses into where your rear site was. That looked stupid as hell, but it did allow me to go optics on the cheap and find out that I shoot them fairly well. So to cut this story off as quickly as possible I did a search for milling in the Indianapolis area and found a guy who would do it for a reasonable price. So behold, I'm not John Wick, but I'm John Wickish. From 30 or 40 yards I'll put a hole in you, may not be exactly where I wanted that hole to be but it'll be a hole.

 

They used to be MKE and had a retail side in Afton VA I think

 

Not a lot of people liked them but I had two of the best AR’s from them that were accurate and no issues to bad they burned down

They certainly had their detractors, they did have some QC issues so some of it was earned. They were good people to work with and they gave military folk dealers pricing on anything we wanted. I regret not buying on of their custom damascus 1911s when I was up there. They were some of the most beautiful pistols I've ever seen.
