Happy Easter, kit kats

 

Not mine but I parked for a minute to help a friend and had a guest in bucket as i went to leave, had a good laugh made a good picture wanted to share

 

My cats name is Bunni, so today I guess she was the Easter Bunni.

 

Sadly I had to say goodbye to my playmate Sabra



She was 12 1/2 years old and suffered Right Paw Congestive Heart Failure (RH CHF) and we also found multiple cancers. Cancer.

She was always to the left of my keyboard when working from home over the past three years. Constantly poking me with her cold nose to pet her and she loved to play. She would never put he claws into me or break skin, though there were many times she would bite and hold me.

Was able to hold her in my lap to the very end. I think she felt bad because she kept trying to look away but I made he look at me as she drifted to heaven. RIP my girl....

 

I'm so sorry you lost your buddy.

Thank you, yea it sucks, My wife and I have two other cats who are near the same age, One has cancer and is in remission, the other is healthy so we will just keep them as healthy as possible and keep loving them. They are feeling it too as they keep looking around and have been a bit down lately

Bella had tumor and had to have it removed and her spleen and then treatment. She is a lover and is healthy today (God Bless Her)


Coco another lover, she has moved into Sabra's bed and has been spending more time with me. Has a cold but she is also a bit sad (God Bless Her)


We had a power outage all of Easter Day, so had her in front of the fireplace covered up the whole day.

 

You will feel better in time.

So very sad for you guys!!! I’m at a loss as what to say and wish there was something that could lift your spirits.
Our late Max passed from cancer and it was horrible! I felt like I couldn’t even breathe for like 3 days. We both healed and have a special place for her in our hearts and minds. Those are things that can never be taken away and even to this day I think of her often. It’s because of Max that we have the 3 amazing cats we have now so her legacy lives on beyond just our memories of her.

Sorry for your loss and all of you that have lost their cats, dogs and peoples. My neighbor down the road lost his cat last week as well, sudden heart issue, he heard a yelp and the cat fell from the cat tree. He said him his wife and dog all were looking in disbeleif, he went to the SPCA and adopted two kitties to help mend their hearts

As much as I would love to have a kitty that is a little energy ball, Sabra's siblings are still part of the fast and furious squad, well not so fast or furious but they still play somewhat and we will keep them going as long as they can. They are very near and dear to our hearts so we will have to heal and keep going. Our long term goal is to get two cats and two dogs later in life after we have traveled a bit and our cats have lived out their lives.

Thank you all for your kind words and we reflect the same to all who have lost a family member... We have lost a few friends to cancer and we always remember the good times and bad that make those people and now pets special.
