    Same as everybody else...
The weather's not bad today so I gave Elwood a wash, spray wax, cleaned off the headlights. Just gave him a quick interior and exterior touch up. I did clean out the Tacoma Organic Debris catchers forward of the front doors.

Anybody have to replace lca due to frozen eccentric bolts that prevent alignment? My local mechanic claims it's a common Toyota problem. I have 100k on my second generation.

Little bit of this and that
Pretty common, haven't had to replace them on my Taco but on my 1st gen Sequoia I did. You *could* just replace the lca bushings instead of the whole lca but it's a pain in the rear and not worth the effort IMHO.

I had to replace my lower arms and all the hardware. Anti-seize is your friend during reassembly.

Water was leaking through the camper shell window. Sand, more like moon dust, was blocking the drain holes of the window.
They were out of window drain cleaner tools so a fish hook was modified to clean out the drains.

Made the passenger side fender liner. Half of the intake is exposed with the new design. The filter on the intake baffle helps, but I'm trying to come up with a solution that won't restrict air flow too much but will provide more protection that this.20240331_132525.jpg

Cowl intake solves this. Make your own or get one from @dpele

Got sick of looking at, walking around and avoiding original hood standing in bubblewrap against wall in garage for last few yrs since nobody wants non-skewpt even for free.....flipped it over and tied strap to it and used it as a 2 person sled in the snow................nah, threw it in the back and rode around the corner and gifted it to a collision repair place. Told them to recycle it with their crunched removals if they can't find a use for it.

I’ve driven on a beach once and the entire time my pucker factor was through the roof because I didn’t want to be that guy… Even with his truck pulled out, I’d be afraid of all the future electrical issues down the road

Many ppl dont know how to drive on the sand especially near ocean. Sand could be different every time on the same beach in different time of the year. I honestly think this truck is done deal. Windows were open and the waves were big enough to cover the entire truck
