I’m just glad that I can hide it away in shame the minute I’m not actively using it

 

Heartland seating in Shawnee ks - they’re used bleachers and apparently they had a lot of them.

 

Oooh I like that a lot, wouldn't have thought of bleachers... are the bottoms open or are they a full rectangle?

Open, and with a corner cut they slot real nicely into a piece of c channel.

 

Hmm, I'm gonna keep an eye out for some of that I think. I'm working on a flatbed as a part of a larger project. Was hoping they'd be a full rectangle because I could fill them in with expanding foam. But I think I could still insulate with some foam insulation boards.

 

That or just fill them with foam and maybe rivet some sort of cover on the bottom

Whole day to ourselves; even though my dad's here from Texas, he didn't want to overwhelm us by being over the entire time so they're out sight seeing now

He was telling me pretty much all the same stuff @CS_AR posted here about buying extra supplies, food, water, etc cause apparently the Killeen is directly center of the eclipse when it passes over

People charging for others to park on their private land, offering tours/history lessons about that shit and whatever else people will pay for

 

I had all morning with Olivia today. Monica got some well deserved rest.

It's so easy to make money off tourist. When people are on vacation like that they will drop all the cash in the world to say they were there and a part of it.
