I used a heat gun and plastic scrapper on my other truck and the tailgate of my taco. The fun part is always trying to get the remaining tape of the vehicle. This weekend Mother Nature doesn’t seem to know what she wants. Sun, rain, hail and snow all in different times the same day.

I have a 32 oz Klean Kanteen in the cup holder in the center console and a 1 gallon Hydro Flask in the passenger seat. Little stuff like that will get us in an emergency.

I rolled my brothers Land Cruiser on the switchbacks between Flagstaff and Sedona in AZ on a snowy road. I wasn’t going fast. It barely had enough momentum to roll onto the roof. If I hadn’t been seat-belted in his spare tire, that he had just sitting loose on the floor in back, would have nailed me in the head.

Installed locking fuel door today. Link to buy from Amazon was here, but I can't remember who's manufacturer e.t.c.
Few important things: it comes WITHOUT any casket (so, offering to tide metal against painted body panel just as is) :annoyed::der:
Shape is not 100% matching (bend it slightly against piece of wood)
    Screws are too short
Spacers are wrong size (3 out of 4).
    SO,
I bend slightly whole thing to correct the shape
    I fabricate nice rubber casket
I replace screws with longer ones (and tomorrow will buy stainless screws of this size).
I make my own spacers of right size.
Result are satisfactory for me - it's not bad looking, and it's lockable.:canada:

Damn! Glad you had it secured. I just got a little too brave/stupid on off-camber transition and just flopped onto the passenger side. Slow motion terror lol! I was fortunate everything fell away from me, big plus was no airbags! Rookie mistake, will hopefully never happen again! Can laugh about it now and have a buddy who was in another vehicle that said “if you haven’t flopped today then you’re just not wheelin hard enough “. :D A little levity goes a long way in these kind of situations.

I knew I couldn't do mine successfully, so I had a pro put them on. Cost me $60. Well worth the money, IMO.

If you use a heat gun or a hair dryer, it will go a lot faster...just FYI.

Birkenstocks are WAY better, IMO...I have tried both and Birks fixed my feet.

Frankly, if you stretch your calves three times a day for 3 minutes each, you'll never deal with PF again.
