Yes it does look like trash at certain angles. Same with the new Colorado, the rear fenders and around the taillights look like it was hit in several spots, takes a double look to realize it is purposely shaped that way.

2024 Limited. Damn this thing is nice. Owner sold his 2023 Tacoma Solar Octane Pro for this.

I wish the offroad came with a solid or better seat pattern like the limited and tundra pattern.

Two people at my work have sold their 3rd gens for the 4th. No regrets so far.

Ya but I just got my 2022 how I want (small lift, volks, STEK PPF and ceramic coated) painful to start over again, and its paid off.

I know it does, why I said "better seat pattern", its the same pattern as the Tundras just different placement. I'm not a fan of the Tacoma's TRD pattern.

    ***edit

This is my co-workers new Taco***

I didn't buy one. I have no use for a Tacoma unless I can finally talk one of my kids into one. Almost had my oldest talked into a 1st Gen...almost.

Now if I didn't need 3800 lbs of payload and 15k lbs of towing capacity I would seriously consider a 4th Gen. From what I have seen so far, solid upgrade from any other Gen Tacoma.

Yes!! I finally saw one in person. This looks really good. Can’t wait to see the TRD Pro and the trail hunter.

Yes the seats are comfy. I don't like the LDA (Lane Departure Alert). It made me think my alignment was off, by trying to steer as soon as you take your hands off the wheel.

Too many tech safety controls. You can go into the dash settings and turn all this crap off.

It does take some time to get used to...for sure. Our Subaru Crosstrek Limited has all that stuff. I don't drive that vehicle very often, but tried it out the last time we spent some significant time in it. This does reduce driver fatigue on some long hauls and keeps you at a safe braking distance. Some people will never like it though and that is just how it is. Thankfully for now one can shut it off. Makes me wonder if that might not be the case in a few more years though.
