The increase in value is a double edged sword but I'm still getting it out to the track as often as I can.

 

I got rid of my logical daily a 6 speed 22 corolla se upgrade and my 17 colorado zr2 when I bought my taco. Now it's just bikes and one truck.

 

Good call! Better track car than daily driver. I think the E36 was a better road car..

My "gentleman's truck" is a 2020 Tacoma. Just basic comfort and appearance mods - bed cover, mud flaps, bed step, console safe. My trail vehicle is a 2010 FJ Cruiser with lift, skids, rock rails, extra racks, off-road bumpers, winch, fridge, big 'ol tires, GMRS, raised rear seat bottom for storage, lots of tools and recovery gear. We share a new-to-us 2013 Sequoia Platinum. What a great truck! Came to us with 206K miles. It is used for taking the dogs places, towing a travel trailer, and road trips. Wife drives a RAV4 as a daily.

 

2009 E250 (Currently doing camper duty for a week of #vanlife. Most useful vehicle I’ve ever owned.)

 

Weekend/fun car is my supercharged 6mt 2014 Mazda3. Not much besides engine internals is stock anymore, pushing upwards of 10psi. Not gonna win any bracket races but never fails to put a smile on my face on the backroads.



Fiance’s car is a 2013 RX350. The gas mileage is comparable to my taco. Might be time to do a tuneup on that thing... or fix her lead foot

 

The wife picked out a 2022 Outback Wilderness Edition, took a bit of time to find the green one she wanted…

‘85 6.2 diesel 1ton dad SO it in the summer of ‘84, doesn’t have 67k on it. ‘82 VW #notarabbit GTI heron head 15” Pirelli alloys. ‘17 TRDOR DCLB FTMFWBBQ first brand new car, first car loan, first Toyota. Wife’s ‘00 she bought brand new.
And over 47 bicycles including 4 tandems.

 

I had a 2011 6mt Mazda3 with the stock Bose sound system. I traded it in on my Tacoma. I MISS that car! So much fun to drive and burst my eardrums.

 

Really good cars that I think are pretty overlooked! Easily as reliable as a Toyota too.
Love your manual access cab, if I didn't need the rear seat I'd be driving around in one of those instead of my dcsb.

 

I bought my 23 SR in order for my younger daughter to be able to use my 2010 Camry when she gets her license this week. Older daughter has a 2006 Civic. Wife has a 2013 Subaru Crosstrek. I just sold my 82 F250 and my 78 Trans Am. The 73 Dodge Coronet in my avatar has been gone for a few years now.

 

Besides my 23 OR I have a mk4 jetta tdi. It is a 5 speed ALH car. Lots of fun, but the car is a great engine wrapped in a turd

Almost as impractical as the Tacoma. But it gets the job done.

 

My other is a 2021 Porsche 718
