Does anyone have any experience with the 6112s vs the pro truck stage 2rs? Curious to see the comparision. How much does the 2.5 inch body on the 6112s matter?

I have an Off-road and it was a drastic improvement. Less wallow feeling on road and much better over bumps too. Off-road factory was way too soft. I also added stage two Deavers.

Maybe an unpopular opinion here…just swapped stage 2R for fox 2.5s front and rear, don’t even compare. Fox were way better. Much more stable on and off road, harshness gone, and no more clunking. Guess that’s to be expected with the drastic price difference though

After reading this entire thread through good and bad I've still decided to order a set of stage 2s. Seems like its more than what I need with my truck. A step above the bilsteins but not quite the quality of more premium options. Only want a modest lift for help clearing 285s along with my cmc. Mostly road driving and the weekend beach days and mild trail stuff. Just crossing my fingers I don't encounter the problem some of you had with the harsh slam on full extension. Gonna lift the rears with Icon rxts on option 1 because I carry no weight in the rear but would like the upgrade since I trailer my boat as well. Gonna be awhile until I get them shipping to Hawaii and all but once I do i hope to add to this thread once I finally install them for others to lurk on like me.

Got the stage 2s installed and so far driving around I gotta say I’m happy with it. Only drove 20 miles or so with some city and freeway driving but it’s been what everyone describes pretty much. Takes bumps and shitty roads well it’s way better than stock that’s for sure. Just hope it stays this way once everything settles. Got pretty much a 1.5” lift all around out the box and the rxts on option one. Just gotta decide on a set of wheels now. Recommendations welcomed!

Sweet set up! I went with the same but option 2 on the RXTs and a little higher up front

Killer truck bro pretty much the same build I’m gunning for. I notice a lot of guys love scs here locally. Couple styles I like but I’m looking for 0 offset or -12 at most. I go back and forth between bronze and black on the daily.

I actually just made some more adjustments past couple days. Did the math and cranked my front up to 2” with about 1 3/4” thread on the coilovers. Settled perfectly at that 2” I wanted and can’t be happier. Ride is still great too. I don’t carry much weight so option 2 might never happen because right now my front is 23” and the rear is 24.5” from the packs. I’m sure they’ll break in too and settle for about an inch or so rake. That’s the goal ideally.

I think they make some of their wheels in a 0 offset. I think the blaze 10 that I have was only -10 or -38, I went with -10

Our 17x8.5 -10mm spec looks great on a stock or lifted setup. Don't be afraid of the -10mm spec.

Any rubbing with the -10? I'm thinking of going with 285 tires on a 17" rim but definitely trying to stay away from doing cmc unless I really have to...

i ended up having to do a cab mount chop. I only rubbed at full lock when going in reverse, but I knew once I took it offroad id rub like crazy, so I got it done. Some people have to do cmc and some dont with the same exact setup, so its hard to say if you would rub or not. If you plan to take your truck off road at all, id probably just do the cmc.

Yea really just depends. I have friends with no rub whatsoever but they only stick to the road. If you’re gonna go off-road at all definitely gonna have to cmc. Taking mine to a local shop in a couple weeks. I don’t weld so I’d rather spend the money to get it done right.

Any shops give you trouble trying to get safety? I don’t mind a small poke I figure some shops won’t sweat over the tread just peeking out but I also don’t want any hassle.

i bought my truck brand new, so safety is good for 2 years, so I havent had to get on yet, but I will have to this year. I highly doubt Ill have any trouble cause the wheel barely poke out past the fender flares. I just took my gf's 4runner in for safety, she has scs ray 10's with -12 offset on 275-70-17 tires, and they safety checked it no problem

Rajah sounds good. I assumed most people would overlook the small lifts and pokes. Mahalos braddah

Can’t tell for certain in your image, so figured I’d ask: Did you install the swaybar to frame drop-spacers that lowers it and moves it forward or leave your sway bar at the factory location/height? If left in stock location any signs of swaybar contact with the coil over?
