Yeah, well, before the ex I was at... holy shit I was at like 10+ years single before her. Then 2 years with her and I had put a ring on it within 1.5...

Not to turn this into a struggle session but the past couple years changed me a lot. First off nearly dying, waking up in a hospital completely blind with someone asking you who gets your shit because you ain't outta the woods yet, kinda flips your outlook.
So I said yolo and started talking to the cutie at work, we end up together and she loved me in a way that I had never felt before, genuine admiration for each other as opposed to some kind of stupid game I was always failing or needing to be "on my game" all the time. Showed me how to actually appreciate myself.

And learning and knowing that I don't have to take any shit... that's powerful.

 

Telling someone to "stay single" that is obviously looking for a partner is equivalent to saying "calm down" to someone in a rage and expecting them to actually calm down.

Sounds like you know exactly what you are looking for, which is a lot more than most people can say. Shouldn't be too hard for you to find someone. How old are you and whats your range for a partner? My wife has some single friends, most of them in their early 30s. I can ask her if any of them think planning something a month in advance is "being spontaneous" and we can go from there!!

I'm 38 and I'm fine with early 30s probably thru early 40s, depending.

 

Went to Show Low with the family and caught some snow. Was able to link up with @KingOfTheNorth and run some trails. Picked up some battle scars so now it looks like it actually gets used.

Also dammit the call of 33s is too strong. I'm upgrading at my next tire replacement and I will chop as needed. Half considering the PRO sequoia 18's, they look slick.

 

Oof. I am all for having a vehicle with some added character, but deep, wide, and numerous pin striping all the way down both sides just is not my cup of tea.

I dunno most pinstripes tend to disappear once you're more than a few feet away. Also you can't see em if you're covered in mud!

Hit Sycamore creek to inaugurate my buddy's new 4wd Ranger last night. There was a lot of water! Came across this poor soul around midnight and pulled him all the way to the trailhead for a tow home. Bro code says that you have to rescue fellow tacos!
