I had one as a child, so I wanted to get one for my collection. After seeing the prices I settled on one without the lion and cab
I paid $5 plus probably another $5 for shipping.

 

was waiting on my alignment to get done on my truck so walked over to a price chopper and a dollar tree and found these!

Working on some shelves in that cubby for my 1/24 scale cars. Cars will be displayed at an angle. Might put a lip on the end to keep them from rolling off.

 

Sorry this took so long. It's the tote at the bottom of the stack (a few boxes of Johnny Lightning and Maisto/Ertl die casts as well). Here are a few pics I took. There was still a couple of layers underneath, but I made a bit of a mess laying everything out. And I forgot to take a pic of some of the stuff I laid out.

The prize of my collection is the Larry Wood Bone Shaker Limited Edition 2007 and the Ertl "Diamond in the Rough" T/A Challenger. I think there are some of you out there which would blow my collection away. I didn't think I had this many pieces when I was collecting them. I left most of them in the bags I bought them in and finally did some house cleaning in 2022 and realized the scope of it.







There was a Falcon XB buried in there as well (huge fan of the Mad Max series when I was a kid).

 

Any of those for trade?

There was talk about prices being paid for die casts and comments being made on the last page. My comment would be its only worth what somebody is willing to pay for it. The prices being posted are an asking price. Youve done well if you can meet in the middle in most cases. I see things I want all the time but ask myself what is it worth to me? Usually, I walk away or offer lower bid if it's not to insulting.
Last year I saw a 40 Willys 1/18 scale in a box marked $60. I didn't like the color but knew it could be repainted, so I offered him $30 and told him why. I also told him he would get more for it if he sold it to somebody else. I told him I was parked near his display and would stop back before I left. I took it home for $35.

Found this little brz today. Subaru and Toyota partnered for this car. Most of the what you don’t see is Toyota, besides the engine and suspension.. Toyota branded there’s as the frs and the 86
