    No... where was that???

He is unwilling to ship... Good deal because they are already mounted, but cost me that much in gas to go get them.

I must have missed that. Sorry.

Edit: yes, but I thought you were talking about running it off the starter battery. I also think that the fridge/freezer combo draws more power than a regular fridge. I could be wrong, though.

Gonna have to keep an eye on this battery talk. I’d like to set up a fridge “soonish” myself.

I’m just keeping my fridge in my camper. Keeps the truck less cluttered.

Very much so! I got started wiring up the brake controller this afternoon. I just looked at the weather forecast, I’m glad I’ll have heat!

This isn't very reassuring. I was hoping to be able to bring it inside before I went to bed. But, I'm pretty tired. I'll have to drag it inside in the morning.

It's well packaged, don't worry. A box inside of a box lined with EPS.

    That's good to hear.

Now it sounds like I'm not going to be seeing it until Wednesday.. maybe...

At least I didn't plan on using it this weekend.

I'll admit even for my first time, it took way too long to do my brake job.

Tackled pads, rotors, drums, and shoes. Bosch Quietcast for the fronts and OEM for the back.

Started the front late Saturday until the missus forced me to go to bed.

Then did the rears Sunday morning/afternoon. Part of the reason it took so long, is everything had a nice dose of rust. Especially the rear. I had to donkey kick the wheels off!

But man did my Fuel compact impact make child's play of the lug nuts. Thought it might be underpowered and I still had a full battery after everything was done.

    Fronts definitely needed it.

    PXL_20240330_235126611.jpg

Didn't take pictures of the shoes cause I was mentally and physically drained but they had plenty of life left on the driver's side. Passenger side had some of one shoe crumbling at the top. All the mating surfaces got a healthy dose of anti-seize.

Missus closed today so I had to wait to finish and bleed the brakes. Felt a little too soft for my liking. Think some bubbles formed from jostling the brake cylinders too much. No broken seals thank God.

Take away is I'm definitely getting some dull side cutters for those springs next time.

When Pat talks me into 35's, I'm springing for one of those nice PowerStop upgrade kits, extended lines and new brake cylinders. Now I just have to pack for Wyalusing :anonymous:
