Wasted way too much effort breaking things free with a normal 1/2 ratchet or short 18” breaker.. I’m sure everyone probably has a big one already, but if you don’t, get one

Laser level. Not a bad toy but mine does more. We used to use 5 point or 3 point and rotary then 2 plane came out, the 5 point and 2 plane this has is pure badassery. Planing cabinet faces, leveling floors, plumbing walls, shooting grade, nice to have one tool that does it all

 

the magnet on the back sells me, does this stick to the corner metal on the wall?

 

Husky rechargeable LED light. 17hrs run time. Very portable and adjustable in every direction. The light itself can be used alone as a flashlight. Plenty bright. I've used it during a power outage and all the predictable garage projects. $50 bucks is a reasonable price IMO

 

I love them all so much, it's not fair to ask for just one!

#2: Not quite sure how I lived without it. Set of impact sockets to go with it.

even though they are pretty big for a mobile toolbox, I keep a set of these in my traveling box

 

I love all my tools equally.



Here's one I've been finding handy lately. The Gridfinity project. It's an open source organization system, with bins and containers of any configuration. I've been using it around the house and tool box, and it's made shit look like I know what I'm doing.

It keeps the tools tucked in exactly the way I want.

 

And one more. The real tool that I carry everywhere.





Razorlite disposable blade knife. Its freakishly sharp and yet cheap enough that it doesnt hurt my feelings if I thrash one.

 

I despise organized people,,,,,
no really I admire people with this ability to organize,, have a good friend and a BIL that have this talent, and I think it is a talent. I try and try and I end up in the corner sucking my thumb, aggravating to say the least.

It’s got a magnetic mount, helpful with steel stud or on corner metal but I was using it for everything from concrete, excavation, framing, windows, decks, etc.
