I will be getting some new wheels for my truck. I would like to give the appearance of a wider stance like I have wheel spacers but without the spacers.

I dont have a crazy lift on my 5 lug, just HD springs in the rear with 5100s and 4600 up front but I have the stock 195/75 r14 steelies and it just looks a bit meh.

What numbers should I be looking for in a 15 inch wheel that gives a wider stance look? I still just want street tires but probably a bit wider like 225? Or 245? I dont have much first hand experience with selecting tires outside of just replacing what was already on my truck.

someone told me to look for deep dish wheels but after googling, that doesn’t seem like it’s an official term

The more negative of an offset you go, the further out the wheel will sit. Do you happen to know the offset of your current wheel?

I dont’t. They're the bone stock 14” steelies that came with the hubcaps

I cant upload a photo for a couple days, Im away for work and dont have a picture on my phone but the stock wheels say offset of 32 to 36mm which is about 1.25 inches. It doesn't say negative offset. Im not sure if that helps

I like the black grill. Did you paint it or is that a trim option for the time?

I was thinking about prepping/primering/painting both front and rear(black)
I crunched numbers for materials….was going to be close to $250…..then my time to prepare/paint……decided on this spray on shop.
I did give the Owner of spray shop (true) song and dance for Son’s 1st vehicle…..
He sprayed rear face bar for free…..I tipped tech $40

think I made right ‘budget’ decision
Pretty fresh…..3weeks…..unknown if will fade….shop said no

    No real experience with bedliner

But shop does all work for AllOut Off Rd performance (shit tons of $150k new lifted trucks at the shop getting sprayed)
