JBL amplifier and bass knob question

I have this amplifier:

I'm thinking about installing an external bass knob, as I listen to a lot of different music.

Never done this so I need to know if there's a specific knob (JBL or otherwise) I would have to obtain.

Doesn’t look like it has a spot to plug one in so you would use something like this universal knob

Being a mono amp, I noticed the knob has 2 pairs of RCAs. Would I just run one pair off the back of the knob?

 

It’s actually an input and output. It’s essentially an in-line volume control.

You’d go out of your radio or LOC or whatever you’re using, into the knob, then out of the knob and into the amp

 

I second that motion. I got sick of playing the bass knob game with amps and got the LC-1. Works great for any amp. Just make sure you get another set of RCA's that will reach from you are mounting the knob to where the amp is located.

It would be one thing if I listened to the same kind of stuff all the time, maybe. Not the case. I remember the old days of the slide knobs for the equalizer haha, how the times have changed.
