My dad and I both struggled with it. I decided when my wife got pregnant with our son if he grows up to be an alcoholic, he's not learning it from his dad like I did from mine.

And one you can see in others. My wife and I had a deep talk about this last night about her parents. Seems to be getting worse with both of them but they can't see it.

There’s so many different ways it can sneak up on folks. Left untreated the results are usually the same. Getting that moment of reason is usually pretty short. Pray they get steered the right way.

 

I put drilled and slotted rotors on an F150 and found that they plugged up. When I did a service I had to redrill the holes and die grind the slots to clean them out. Could be from living on a dirt road?

 

If you don't care about looks, or can hide it, I'd do something like this with a bit of wire and a torch. It's quite strong. Bend the wire back and forth to overlap the crack several times, heat it up, and sink it half way into the plastic on both sides of the break. You can also buy actual kits to do this for around $30.
