That would be like telling your friends you bought a Vette, for them to find out you bought a Chevette

 

I vowed to never buy cheap wrenches again after one from Northern Tool (3/4") broke and smacked me in the forehead

 

It's your money!

Obviously you can't dodge a ball then!

 

That looked like me, I was sitting on the ground tightening a brush guard on a 1992 Toyota truck when the wrench snapped and hit me.

 

They were a little better than a Vega. The early ones never needed an oil change. Because they burned and leaked enough that all you needed was to change the filter once in a while.

 

I actually seen one of those in town Sunday. Those have long since rotted away around here. Odd to see someone garage keep one

 

Our neighbor growing up had two of them, one for him, one for his wife. Both were baby blue. They had 5 kids, guess they drove them both if they all went somewhere.

 

Back in the ole days, people weren't so worried about child seats or even seat belts. Parents just stuffed you in the back, maybe one in the trunk and told you to keep your hands to yourself...

 

I know like many of you here, we never had a car seat. I don't think they were invented back then. Same way with bicycle helmets, never had one or knew anybody who had one.
