I did kind of the same. I have old Mobtown skids. Cut the front turn down off, welded on a flat extension and that gets sandwiched to the frame by the pivot skid. Works just fine.

So far Tundra rack does fit with 934 CVs. Tight, very tight but does clear

Can confirm. I've got about 8 months and several trips stretching her legs out. It does indeed fit.

I had to do the same thing. I made some angled shims to clock it forward a smidge to get the input shaft off of the CV.

Did you guys see the new shock tower on a recent JD post on IG? Those guys are always on top of constant improving. I think it allows a longer lower rod end on the coilover and then more steering clearance. Jesse Just sent me templates to reverse engineer for production. ****maybe im not supposed to be talking about this:anonymous:

Tell them to stop. If I think they may come out with something new I may never change from their stock length setup to the 2.25. But making more room for steering is not a bad thing. Perhaps to accommodate the 74Weld rack, a steering box with a swing set or a steering box with a Howe rack.

would just be an add on. Ill update my +4 with this tower and longer shock rod end when it comes back from laser. Not really any wasted money. just updates and no trash except the leftover metal cutoff the frame bucket

no, the portion of the coil bucket that houses the UCA bolt is the same structure. Just cut the bucket top off and weld new cap on. You can see the UCA bolt double shear plates in the picture you shared.

Would the extend height tower require the JD inner fender?

Not sure how I missed this post. But I’m glad I’m not the only one. Idk if it’s the HD pack or what the deal is but I too, lost a bit over an inch of wheel base.

I havnt had time to bring an update to my wheel base. We initially measured wheel base right away without settling the rear trying to find what would be the proper ride height. After a week and a half of road miles I measured again and the wheel base is pretty close to before the install. The shackles have such a huge arch of swing that changes the wheelbase. As of now, the wheelbase isn't an issue for me. I have a 200plus mile all dirt planned for this weekend which will be my second time out with the SUA. And next weekend will be another 200plus mile all dirt trip. We'll see how it goes. After these two trips I'll start on the front end, hopefully I'll have my Bypasses, they are a few weeks past the quoted time
