    Damn...
Did he try and cross while it was too deep and fast, or hit with flash flood?

Uncomfortable silence avoiding the "how is the hell?" question, or was there a rational explanation like "hiking, then the rain came"?

It honestly looked like it was about 6 inches deep where he went in. Tried to cross the river and stalled out.

We came upon him strobing his flashlight and screaming for help while standing in his bed. He had been there for about 20 minutes slowly watching his truck get lower and lower in the water. I believe there may have been some beverages involved.

Well ... fellow Tacoma owner or stranger, the polite thing to do is just get the person to safety and let them have some dignity.

The city of Phoenix though has had enough of that. There is a "Stupid Motorist" law on the books allowing them to charge up to $2500 if you drive past barricades into deep water and they must tow you out.

Anyone have the harbor freight/midwest jerry can and have found a better nozzle?
Hate the damn carb-compliant safety nozzle that it comes with..

Good on you for helping him out, even if he might be a Darwin award contender.
Nice to see the offroad code isnt completely dead.

Ive never understood the obsession with crossing water of unknown depth and traction, especially when its raining

    I like it .

I hate the "important message" part.
ABC Nissan used to leave messages on my wifes phone implying it was some sort of recall or something.
Stupid sales tactic, but i guess it works

ABC is sketchy as fuck. I remember when I first got here I fell for the "lottery ticket that says you won thousands of dollars" shit because I'm pretty sure that was turbo illegal in PA.

Once I got there and realized it was a scam I figured I'd waste their time right back and joyride a Titan. They tried the disappearing keys trick and got assblasted when I told em to stop with the talking and make with the giving my keys back.

The titan was kinda nice tho.

I would rather think the best (at lest the best they CAN be if they try) of people. And maybe these sales people are decent people in real life. But the way they shift from your "best friend and ally" to "get the F&CK out" after they have your money can be discouraging.

I still get calls and mail about my Tacoma that I sold 4 years ago from the dealership in northern VA. Like, it's an AZ address. Please, let me drive fully across the country just to buy from you.

No no no it's for exposure now. Gotta give the incentive.

Go to the bathroom, a quick 911. I'm being hostage at ABC dealership im hiding in the bathroom. Hang up. I'm pretty sure you'll get your keys pretty quickly. Next call is to the news, holding customers hostage by keys and drivers license

Picked a friggin bolt the size of my thumb in my tire last night. Driving down 66 hearing tap tap tap at 0 dark thirty this morning before work had me all sorts of confused about what came loose. Thought for sure discount wouldn't patch it given the location. I was ok with a multiple plug fix once I got home if need be, to my surprise they patched it up no problem.

Did they let you keep the bolt. I’ve been looking for it?

Had them give them to the guy in the next bay, figured his dodge would need it on the way home.
