Never in a million years did my wife think THIS would be a vehicle that I loved driving everywhere but dammit it is.

Got shipping info for the Trail Edition grille and Garnish, hope to have it by next weekend to do first oil change, AC drain relo and put the new parts on.

Ordered the Form Lighting tail lights. Subsequently returned them without even opening them and bought the VLED VTails kit instead.

Don't love the chrome trim on my OEM lights but I have the OEM LED headlights thanks to the OR trim and if I replaced the tail lights, the inconsistency between the headlights having chrome and the tails not would drive me just as crazy.

I already dumped enough rice money into the full TRD intake kit...

 

I'm excited to not have to build my own helper ramps to get the damn vehicle up high enough. I'll add that to the Amazon cart. Thanks for the link

This day in age I want my fuel door secure from what ever mayhem is out there. At least you can see if someone has tampered with it.

 

Installed the rest of the meso interior "blackout" kit. I'm sure the blue accents aren't for everyone. But I'm liking it.

I like the blue also, not only does it go with those jeans, but the dash lights as well. +1 on the footwell.

It's been on the to-do list. Mine came with wiring running to the bottom of the grill for fogs but is not "Pre-wired"... Headache for another day

These trucks are not only fun to drive but there is so many things you can do with them as far as mods and tweaks to personalize them to your needs and wants .

 

Well there is a lot more to it but I’ll make it short as I can. I was so furious when I picked up my car I almost went back in there to look for the tech but wisely I went home and tried to calm down a little or I’d probably would have ended up in jail. I called my service rep and asked if it was normal for the cars to go on test drives for an oil change. He said yes when time allows they’ll take it between a 2 mile and 4 mile test drive to check tire pressure and then mentioned some other BS. I said oh ok is it also normal protocol for the tech to disconnect my front and rear dash cam ? It got quiet on the other end and then he replied oh no absolutely not they are not suppose to and told not to and sounded shocked. I also told him the car smelled like it just got off the race track. He said next time when I bring it in he’ll leave a note no test drives. I told him more than likely there will not be a next time! He said he will look into and find out why this happen and I never heard back from them. I also left 2 or 3 detailed messages to the service manager since it always went to voicemail when I called and never heard back from him. I also called my salesman that had been there for over 20 years and told him what happen and he also lost a customer due to what happen.He said he would let everyone know what happen in the proper channels of command. Also never heard back from him. I left a shitty review for them and I also have a email from BMW wanting to know why I didn’t buy another BMW. I will also send them a nice letter explaining what happen.
