Wow! I would've had the owner and/or GM of the dealership down there to smell the inside of the car, before I left the building. I would've had the tech there explaining WTF he was thinking...in front of his boss. Doing the calls and emails after leaving allows them to weasel out and blow you off as they did.

    Stawk as FUCK!
Anyone ever have this happen to them? Went off-roading and it was windy outside. when I opened my door the door flung my door open pretty hard, almost like overextending the door jam. there was a clunk as I closed it as if it was rubbing on the fender/door seam. It closed find, but now my driver window doesn't like to go up when the door is closed. When the door is open, it goes up fine. Anyone know what's up? Did I bend something inside the door??? What the heck? looked up a video on YouTube of replacing the driver glass & it looks like a bit of work that I would rather not do. Anyone ever open their door up & have some idea of what I might have bent?

Yes that is what I should have done in hindsight. But I was so furious I was shaking and when I get like that it’s not good and my mind will stop working. When I was sitting in my car all I could think about was going into service bays and calling the service tech by name and grabbing him by the ear and drag him out to my car and stick his face into my unplugged dash cam just for starters . That’s why I left and went home and calmed down first. I’ve mellowed down much in the years and gained much wisdom . But I knew from my younger years when I get like that it’s not good and learned to walk away and calm down first. But you are absolutely right I should have went back in there and took care of everything in a professional manner like I did when I got home. But even talking to the service writer I could feel my face start getting smoking hot as the blood rushed threw my body with my heart racing lol. Even then I wanted nothing more then to reach out and touch someone. Definitely not the mature thing to do and again why I left initially . Some 20 year old punk that probably couldn’t even afford the wheels on that car raced it harder then I ever did after I followed the break in period faithfully.

I would've done the same thing, and I probably would've sent a email to the owner of the dealership to let them know what is going on in the service dept and how it was handled by the service manager! There was a similar issue with a dealership in RI i few years ago and it made the local news because it was caught on dash cam driving it like he stole it, to which the tech was fired and arrested.

sounds like you tweaked it what does the body lines look like between the door and the fender? does the door contact the fender when opening or closing any paint damaged? It won't take much to knock the window frame out of whack.

Heard a loud bang followed by the golf ball landing on my cowl on my way home from work— I pass by a golf course and I was at the wrong place at the wrong time haha. And for the ball to hit my Taco and land in my cowl too. Thankfully didn’t hit glass but it did give me a little dent on my hood. Oh well! I can just cover it up with that solar panel eventually

AWE Exhaust, KARTBOY exhaust hangers, custom 1/0 exhaust grounding, lots of Titanium hardware from my old builds, silly JDM bits from my old Subaru builds, Uniden Bearcat Off Road CB, Firestik 2 w/custom CF mount, custom KARTBOY plate frame with Rigid Ind Spot on ball head mount, Yakima Mega Warrior w/custom CF cross brace. ARP extended studs (not installed yet), Optima Red Top, Siless Insulation in cab. Diode Dynamics LEDs throughout... More titanium fasteners. K&N intake snorkus delete. Greddy hose clamps throughout. DBA 4000XS Brake Rotors. TRD PRO fogs. Dakine Tail Gate Pad. More to come of course.
Took out the mold boxes and test fit the RagoFab braces. Over drilled one hole which means more Ti.
I LOVED the boxes until I put 25lbs. of dessicant into them and they still rusted tools and supplies. Tossed them for Pelican cases. I'm honestly bummed. I liked them.

Oh man that sucks ! I remember many years ago my brother bought a new corvette back when they were fiberglass and he drove by someone cutting there lawn and it threw a rock right into his door and took a chunk of fiberglass and paint out of the door.
