It’s nice because fox 2.5 only come with 13 inch so you get a longer coil which is nice IMG_2880.png

-Public notice- was trying to fit Ome heavy duty leaf springs with the eibachs 2r.and No go. I have to return them now. asked arb and everything to see if could eliminate a leaf but I'm running to much weight in the caboose.

What specifically was the issue? From a valving perspective there's no reason that an Eibach 2R wouldn't be compatible with OME leafs. Is there some sort of fitment or interference occurring?

Disclaimer. Im a total noob. So I was emailing extreme terrain where I had originally purchased my eibach 2r where they were telling me that the rear shocks Can accommodate lifted suspensions between 0-1.5" and I asked arb ome them what was the likely lift i was going to get with the heavy load spring and they were telling me just over 2" because it advertised it as a 2.75 lift. So in my understanding with that info I'm like maybe the possibility of over extending the shock was a possibility if I had a one of the rear tires in the air. And if I'm wrong on that info I apologize I'll correct or delete that message. first time lifting a vehicle so I'm double checking stuff.

IMG_3340.jpg IMG_3347.jpg IMG_3350.jpg The rear shocks work best with 1.5 inch rear lift but can work with a little more is my understanding. I’m going to add a leaf to keep my 2 inch in the rear. Eibach says it just works best around 1.5 inch. Idk if I would go over 2.5 though imo. I did another test run in the dunes to see how hot I could get these. There was some traffic but was able to hit 50 mph and probably averaged around 25-30 mph was out maybe for 2 hours with minimal stopping. The fronts got to where I couldn’t hold my finger on the shock, but the rear stayed cool. No loss in performance. I still can’t believe how well these do. They also take big hits pretty well. Your tires will leave the ground before you hit the bump stops which happens a lot. Tried hitting some 2 foot whoops and have to roll them. Small whoops I can do but the big ones send my front in the air and can’t go more than 15-20 without thinking my taco will come apart. But besides the whoops I can keep up with side by sides in the open dunes but on the whoops they pass me. Idk I don’t think many people would need 2.5 resi in rear unless they are smashing the ENTIRE day. These 2.0 resi keep up! The fronts are my only concern but have never lost damping like my Bilsteins 4600 and were toast after a while. I wish the front was a 2.5 for more oil capacity so in the future if I need to I will grab some 2.5 for front. Honestly though I think for 95% of people these will work and feel amazing for! If they come out with a 2.5 eibach setup I will be first in line!

Hey man this looks great. I am planning to install mine this weekend. Any suggestions for me? This is also my first time instaling suspension on a truck. Did you adjust the coilovers at all for height or taco lean? thanks
