I think people are calling it a conspiracy or whatever else because the way you have typed out the message is really sketchy looking/sounding. The caps and italics and shit about "dont call them" and all that. Its the sketchiest way you could possibly go about making that post.

This is a weird one but anyone here interested in musical instruments? And/or know reputable places in the valley that would deal with an antique trumpet?

Have an old Conn trumpet of unknown vintage, case is absolutely brutalized and broken, though the trumpet inside is relatively safe and does appear to function.

Looks kinda like this:


This particular listing sold for $650 but I can't make heads or tails over whether I have a good one, what the value is, etc...

Maybe someone here knows a guy who knows a guy?

Here's the "conspiracy theory" that he's alleging. Guess I'm the villain for pointing out how it looked a bit suspicious. Then he started editing posts and changing stuff, then he purged all his comments and the mods locked it. It comes off shady. Could it be legit? Sure. Though seeing that he's doing it in another thread after editing the first one to say he's not longer looking makes it even shadier. Something close to the original post he made is quoted toward the end of the thread so you can see where the skepticism came from.

The valves appear to work and it has a mouthpiece but I have no idea how to make the doots emanate from it. Even test doots.

As far as I’m concerned he walks on water when it comes to Toyota’s
I should have just paid him to build the motor for massive amounts of boost then let him use whatever way he felt was best! I could have purchased 8 superchargers for what I have in just labor alone on the LS swap and it was paid to a hack! Live & Learn…
