Is it possible it would have wiring ran and not a option because I'm not seeing that on any of my center console paneling?

Pretty sure that’s correct, that’s how mine is routed. Noticed it when I swapped to a 15 radio and trim bezel.

It very well could be pre wired. That be cool. I'm kinda surprised you don't have it.

I have the pictures of when I did my dash removal....It's in the first pictures so I assume that means it was among the first things I disconnected and it was something I disconnected from the plastic dash itself.

The only other Airbag related things it could connect to is the passenger airbag itself or the airbag computer below....

Easier to make one wiring harness for all trucks, than it is to make 3 different ones.
It's a manufacturing thing, no other reason.

"One size, fits all" type thing.

That's because Toyota does not want you, in any way shape or form, effing with the airbags.

It's all there, you just have to be looking in the right spot.

As others said, it is for the airbag switch in the dash. Just because it is there doesn't mean it was being used.

Each harness assembly come with a part number and Toyota wants to keep that down to a minimum number of part numbers. Easier and cheaper to manage 3 different part numbers inventory wise rather than 10 or 20 so that is why a lot of terminals won't get used.
