I put it facedown to get the compressor out, and this earthworm found it's way in...

 

The Jenn-Air; I responded to an for this fridge and ended up with all the other stuff. This fridge was being given away due to not cooling; I assumed it had a leak, but there was R134a in it; I discovered shredded insulation while removing the compressor, and suspect it was an electrical issue caused by nesting mice...

 

I couldn't figure out what year the Jenn-Air was...

 

Getting the compressor out of the Jenn-Air was a pain in the ass...

 

The compressor from the Frigidaire, which was very easy to extract...

 

The house where I got my most recent scrap haul from is located in a neighborhood of a dozen homes situated on a dead street. All of the homes were built in about 2002-2003...

This is a very nice house in a very nice area, but I haven't seen a single-family home on a lot this shitty outside of a major city since we lived in Northern Virginia almost 20 years ago!

We don’t even put up retaining walls. We just let the red clay and mud slide down up against the house.


Seriously though, it wouldn’t take much to have that yard in good shape.
A pressure washer, a weed eater, yard rake, a shovel and some manual labor. You’d have that looking 100% better.

 

Seriously though, a 18’ extension pole , you could make some money pressure washing. I’ve done it many times.
