Back to truck talk. Last time I'll inquire, you say the RR is on hold ? What is the status ? Is it built ? I know you're undecided and will not ask ( harass ) you about this again...LOL

 

As far as I know it does, gobs of nice tech and no sunroof.

 

Well, appears it's being assembled and all parts are acquired before the build starts so you're not far from built status. Farley said the quality has to be improved as far as a QC hold. The rust issue raised is likely the earlier built trucks driven from different locations while on hold on the salted Michigan roads.

 

Appreciate that, no easy decision to make. The hybrids are very cool, you won't see me bashing Tacomas.

The only thing I don't like about the Raptor (other than it presumably being a tiny fraction as reliable as the 'Yota) is the lack of a composite bed.

 

I thought Mid-size buyers didn't haul things in their beds, or thats what I have read.

If Ranger Raptors are treated the same as almost every full size Raptor I see, it will be loaded down to about F250 levels of crap in the back draggin' ass.

The other 4% are pavement princesses.

I've had a credit card key for years on my 3rd gen, it would be hard to go back to keys. I really like not having keys.
