lol.... I have cut back as I have run out of room.

 

Well that's cool you two have spent the time to get used to dealing with a right handed pistol. I chose to buy an ambidextrous pistol with the slide release and mag release easily accessible by my thumb. To each their own.

You guys and your astigmatisms, left eye dominant/ right eye dominant, wah, wah, wah. A blind guy in a pistol duel killed John Wick so what are you all bitching about?

 

Out trained my eye dominance. Contacts correct astigmatism. Can play golf with a standard grip but refuse to cause cross handed is a solid convo starter, especially since I can crush the ball

 

I know.

So I trained and learned and in doing so became better at a skillset instead of complaining or accepting failure?

Spend the money on whatever you like but I deal with training issues like this on a weekly basis with other people, there's more than one solution to any problem. Just like picking up a weapon with an unfamiliar manual of arms its the software not the hardware, and unless youre running 3 gun against a clock to win the cost vs return is insignificant. If you like the ambi stuff and it works for you thats great, i prefer to understand how to use a wider selection of platforms so im not limited in my hardware.

Nothing replaces proper training and practice. Nothing.

Two things you can try if you haven't already. Turn your head slightly to switch eyes or tilt the pistol to align the sights with your dominant eye, this is not ideal but its the quickest way to fix this.

The other ways are to learn to shoot with the other hand or train your brain to switch eyes by covering dominant eye to force you to use the other one while shooting.
