I been using this stuff for a recent project and it covers nicely and doesn’t clog up the nozzle.

I paid $9.08 for a can of red today. That was the cheaper of the two, the other was $9.99 without tax.

    @Kilo Charlie
Here is a real 72 Cheyenne Super 30 with Longhorn package.
    Rare top spec option truck.

Big block engine, compound 4 speed transmission.

See that seam in the front of the bed?
That was factory - the Longhorn had 6" extra ( :pout: ) of bed length for an 8-1/2 foot bed and a 133" wheelbase. Ideal for the popular big slide in campers of the day.

    Cheyenne Super12.jpg

And boy is this truck loaded (by 1972 standards).
Take a gander at this interior, bucket seats (a rarity in trucks then) air conditioning, tilt steering column, wood grain on the doors & dash and the trim around the roof suggests that it originally came with a headliner (kind of treated cardboard) which again was a big deal in the era.

    Cheyenne Super3.jpg

    But wait, there's more!
    A full gauge package too.

These campers were everywhere in the late 60's and into the 70's

The tilt steering wheel usually indicated there was a tachometer in the dash... both highly sought after in the 67 to 72s

The old fire chief where I grew up at had a square body camper special, it was this color and had the same mirrors.

Looking through the plans for an upcoming addition, I came across this detail.

    20240404_121101.jpg

Three layers of 5/8" sheetrock, insulated stud cavity, 11" air gap (tapering to 1" at the top so the walls aren't plumb so the sound dissipates instead of bouncing), another stud filled cavity and another FIVE layers of 5/8" rock.

And the floor is built on isolation pads with more insulation under the two layers of 3/4" plywood.
