I prefer the D-ring set up. I have a Schuberth that has the little buckle set up and I strongly dislike it for that reason. I fabbed up a helmet hanger on my 2014 FJR and it will only work with the D-rings. My vintage Honda has a factory helmet lock under the seat and that uses the D-rings. Most commercially available helmet lock systems use the D-rings.

another +1 for the D rings

i've tried the buckle, and that was easy but didn't feel secure. Tried the fidlock and it felt secure, but i couldn't get the hang of it and would spend just as much time getting that to attach vs doing up d rings.

Ok good because I don't follow their method either. Comforting to know I'm not alone :)

Hands down Arai probably the best helmet you can buy. You are comparing a Ferrari to a Mustang Arai/HJC.

    cool deal on the goggles.

Hell, now that I think about it .... I've only ever ridden with goggles. Never ridden with a helmet that had an actual face shield.

For me.......since I can't take the chance of getting hurt doing stupid MX stuffs....the dual sport makes me "feel" like I'm still able to MX
    For that view...worth it :D

Rite rite. I've always said..... The dual sport bike is the best of both worlds (all I've ever bought). They may not be the master of on road or off road. but, damn if they aint fun on both terrains. the DS is the only bike I like to ride.

At this point in life, I love the smaller bikes. I never have to worry with speed getting me in trouble

That said, I do want the 301 big bore kit :D

liter and MX bike owner...i get to worry about both yay!

funny thing is I initially wanted a dual sport when first getting into bikes because of the versatility lol. Got talked out of it for the time being but one day...
