    Yeah being out of work sucks. When I was out this last time. I expanded my relam of possible jobs I could do. I'm a carpenter by trade. A Superintendent by experience. So if it was even 3/4 of I was looking for. I applied. Delivery driver/ Forklift driver. I figured if I was at least working, I could keep applying to my main skill set. I believe you have to be flexible. And God may open a small door just to see if you'll go though it. If it comes down to it I'll put my nail bags back on if I have to. Or get the CDL back and join the wife in the truck.

    I’m contemplating buying a tractor trailer load of logs next year . It will save me a lot of work. I am dropping trees cutting rounds ,loading in my lawn cart and making multiple trips out of the woods with it on my quad . Then still have to split and stack it . The only good thing is it’s free except for gas in the saw and splitter.

    I was at work one day and I saw a great big pile of rounds ready to split on someone’s lawn that looked like a ten wheeler dumped it. I looked for a while to find someone that could deliver 6-8 cords that only required splitting. Settled for the grapple load. Paid $600 and I’m getting about 8-9 out of it. In the long run it’s worth it
