When I had the Kubota it was figured in with the 0 interest 60 month thing.

THe Kioti was also figured into the payment thru that financer which was LLC or somethin/g like that?

Once Kioti was paid off? I added it onto my homeowners, it is on there along with my mini truck, excavator & all my other large pieces of equipment. All I had to do was show ownership & serial numbers for it to all be covered. THEN you pick your amount of coverage for the over all.

So while it under my home owners? It's a separate rider & amount. 750K total on my house/furnishing/belongings.... 150K on equipment/attach/accs.

I ended up doing the same. I wish USAA would write policies themselves, it would simplify the process a bit.

Found the drain screw. Let gas and any other liquid inside drain for a little bit. Took off the air filter to make sure the was no blockage. With no starting fluid tried some MAPP gas as a blind hope it might work. It didn’t. Pulled the spark plug. Looked good. Burned off any residual fuel/water that might be on the plug. Reinstalled plug. No change. Texted my neighbor down my road and asked him if he had a can of starting fluid. He did and walked it up. Sprayed some starter fluid in and gave it a pull and it started right up. It stalled several times before I adjusted the choke and it ran for the next 5 hours until it ran out of gas. Refilled and it started right up again.

    Thanks to @koditten @six5crèéd & @RustyGreen

My neighbor left the can with me but I will be adding that to my shopping list!

And my apologies for the delay in responding. No internet and poor reception equals no way to respond.

HAven't posted here since October. I haven't done anything mower related for awhile.

Broke pull start on my push mower at home, now use drill to start via nut on top. Pretty cool, it's like having a racecar mower. Probably going to go battery powered mower and take the motor from my mower, honda 160 I think, and make a log splitter with it.

Also I put a Heat Pump and new high efficiency gas furnace in my house. I went from an 80% furnace and 10 SEER AC to a 96% furnace and 14.8 SEER2 Heat pump. I hope to see some savings. I own an HVAC co. so my only real cost is in the equipment. I took my sweet ass time with the instal lol.

My boy is not very helpful. the idea of having him help during the summer needs rethought for sure haha.

First warm weekend I am pressure washing my house judging from the looks of it in this pic.

I don't know what to expect. I have the HP set to switch over to gas below 45º since I have no defrost protection and a HP starts to fall off at that temp, so on one hand I will use less gas, but more electricity for heating. Good news is the HP is 3x more efficient than the gas furnace in heating mode and 60% more efficient than my old AC in cooling mode.

I'll keep you updated as my wife is very interested in this as well.

I have the same algae problem. Watched a YouTube video where a a guy sprayed the house from a spray bottle and it took 5 minutes to get rid of all of it. I can’t remember the stuff he used but he did not use a pressure washer.

I have a bottle of house wash that I did the front part of that wall not pictured maybe 10 years ago and it is still spotless. I can't remember why I didn't do the whole wall, but that whole north facing side was like that.

If you come across the non pressure washer solution, let me know.

    Generator working….Check!

Fisher Homesteader Plow frame completely snapped….Check! :angrygirl:

At the joint there was internal rust that compromised the structural integrity. Hope this is the last storm this year!

Our town has 1910 power customers and 1910 without power. The only gas station sold more than 4000 gallons of gas today and almost ran out.

Trees down everywhere. Three on our short private road that went partially or completely across the road.

I am ready for a drought. :annoyed:

Anything with trace amounts of copper sulphate combats the algae/mildew growth. Gotta be careful, though. It runs off the house and stunts any plants that are growing near the house siding.

This stuff that @Kbar posted a few days ago looks interesting. I have old brick steps that get slippery with algae. The internet says not to use pressure washer or chemicals on old brick. Reading about this stuff, it claims to be safe for old brick.

It’s not a fast working agent. Takes days before you see any results. But it does work. 30 second cleaner will bleach the hell outta anything but it’s just bleach. Wet n forget is a true algicide and it will kill the algae or mold/mildew and keep it away for months. Don’t expect immediate results and be patient when applying.as far as the bricks I don’t see why it would hurt it. I put that shit on everything and nothing has been damaged or discolored. Oh, and it needs to be applied in dry weather and let it dry on there
