yes. Definitely been trying to figure out a loophole.
And trying to downsize as much as I can. If I do, that could mean
    1. Smaller cheaper trailer
    2. Take up the bed space and ditch wooden bed. Sleep in drivers seat, tent, or check into a hotel which is still cheaper than $2000 6x12.

I have even thought about buying a dead car on wheels and pulling my stuff in it. But that may not be smart given a vehicle has a drivetrain and weighs more than a trailer. Then sell it. But if I toss out the engine make it a roller chassis it’s less sellable after let alone fix and store/park it on its own power.

because I have bought $1000 running and driving vehicles before.

I’ll have to look more into used trailers. Roommate did exactly that with an open/not enclosed trailer. After he’d store it, rent it out, sold it eventually I think.

there is for sure many scammers who have become aware of this listing a ton of fake ads on various classifieds pretending to have a trailer for sale.

@TacoTuesday1 are you just trying to stop hitch from rattling? If so don't worry about it. It reminds you it's back there:rofl::rofl:. Quality adjustable hitch is worth it's weight in gold class 3/IV.

no. I’ve had trailer rattle before.

just not trying to have it destroy the reciever
Or move with enough slop to create instability driving
    and oval the pin hole

simply because HFT is cheap. That’s where I got my adjustable drop. And that particular one is reported to have those issues.
Probably same reason it’s $50 vs $150+ anywhere else.
not everything at HFT folks would bet their life on.
Gotta be why they came out with the $12 clamp as a bandaid to address bad review complaints and returns.

truck isn’t a 2500 diesel tow anything and everything different trailers all day every day in construction or oil fields so didn’t see the need to get fancy expensive drop.
