put the pass side together with whiteline grease, drivers side with spare prothane grease from @Kwikvette

we'll see which squeaks first :D the prothane is much tackier and thicker coating so I suspect it will live up to it's reputation and hold up better

Credit goes to @GHOST SHIP he got me started on that stuff when I first replaced the LCA bushings on the Tacoma.

Assembly is the easy part at least. Fighting rusty stuff feels like scope creep incarnate

    fair point

it helps having all new hardware too. I have a feeling putting the rack back into place will be the worst of it the rest is just clunky work

Yeah the rack is kind of a bitch. Especially if you don’t have enough room to get a long wrench to tighten those bolts.

yeah, not looking forward to that.

looks like ECGs didn't use enough RTV when they put together the front clamshell, it was 1 quart low when I tore into things. I topped it off and there's a 3ft dia puddle under the truck again already lol. should pull it out but I'm just gonna keep topping it off til it's 60 time. the skid catches it well enough to never collect on pavement lol

rack lined up surprisingly easily. just gotta tie off a few loose ends, grease, torque, and it's good enough for tomorrow

Every time I see one of these out I realize I've forgotten they exist. Such a weird flex.
    ( @Sperrunner go get one)

Only things I've bought from Leslies are chlorine testers...
