It's cause they're dry!

So the plus side is, they never stink cause they never sweat

Downside is, it sounds like two sanding blocks rubbing together cause they're so dry

 

Yea my heels definitely could. Years of being a wilderness guide took a toll on my feet haha

This is true. I sometimes put in a second pair of socks on each day. Especially after working hard in my leather boots. If I dont air them out I get what I can only assume to be trench foot. The wife reminds me of this regularly via her upturned nose and scoffings.

 

I'm lucky, my feet don't sweat. But they get cold real easy.

 

Mine sweat and stink...but better than having scrub daddy feet
