My old boss had a twin turbo Audi s4 that had massive calipers like that, it was old enough it looked like a big Passat. I don’t know if they were quite that big but they took up 1/3 of the wheel

 

Found some old test logs that guys in my shop were running back in 1969, some of this equipment and procedures haven't changed at all since then. We literally use the exact same green books for data collection.

Those green books are used by the military too, every branch uses them. I think the government has kept that company in business since the 40's lol

 

I wouldn't be surprised to find one in a box somewhere in the basement.
