So, I reached out to a buddy to have him pull me back from the ledge on the Super Tenere because I'm trying to not spend more money until the Taco is paid off. Always a good plan to have somebody talk sense to you in this kind of tempting situation.

That seems to be the answer from anyone that has ever ridden a bike and had fun.

Really wish @nd4spdbh hadn't abandoned us for the land of coconut covered tatas as I'd ask him to go check it out for me if it wasn't too far away. I don't think I can really pass it up, though. Dammit!

 

You should do it. Motorcycles should always be some sort of adventure

 

Lane filtering is finally legal here in CO. They've been trying to pass that one for years.
Lane splitting is still illegal, but in dead stop traffic, bikes can now scoot to the front of the line.

 

Is that statewide, or is that just in certain cities?

 

I believe it's statewide, but might only be on certain highways/interstates. It just passed today I think.

 

Back yard track is getting more challenging.

Went out briefly to fill the tank on my 13 FJR. Ran out later to get a new battery for my Buell.

 

Same here, 35+ mph sustained, 90-100 mph gusts. And it gets worse tonight.
